King Solomon Era Wall Discovered in Jerusalem
A fortification wall dating back to the time of King Solomon of Israel has been discovered just outside of the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. Dr. Jimmy DeYoung interviews Hebrew University Archeologist, Dr. Eilat Mazar, about this historic find. Dr. Mazar is the lead archeologist in charge of the project of excavating this ancient site.
Jimmy then discusses how this confirms the biblical narrative, and is a reminder of the Davidic covenant, in which God promised to King David that his son, King Solomon, would build the Temple on the Temple Mount, (which he did). And God also promised that another descendant of the Davidic line, the Messiah, Jesus Christ, would also build a temple on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem - Messiah's Temple. It is from this temple that Christ will rule and reign the world for 1,000 years in the future Millennial Kingdom.
